When my grandmother was 18, she moved from Grand Bruit; an isolated fishing town of 200 people, to Halifax seeking adventure.  That courage to charge into the unknown was something I lacked growing up. Instead, I succumbed to my fear of change and my love of comfort. It took an impromptu cross-country road trip where everything went wrong, for me to break out of that mindset.
